Job Descriptions

An Energy Technician is responsible for improving the energy efficiency and comfort of
residential homes by applying weatherproofing techniques. This includes installing insulation,
sealing air leaks, repairing windows and doors, and ensuring proper ventilation.

Supervises assigned Energy Efficiency Technicians I-II and ensures that all weatherization
work is performed and reported in accordance with all applicable weatherization policies,
procedures and work instructions.

The ERC Energy Auditor conducts assessments of residential properties to identify energy
efficiency improvements. They evaluate insulation, heating and cooling systems, ventilation,
and air sealing to determine energy-saving opportunities.

A technical position responsible for the supervision of insulation and weatherization
personnel in the Weatherization/Furnace Program. Coordinates with the Intake Specialist to
ensure maximum productivity of the field staff.
