The Energy Resource Center works with Colorado Springs Utilities (CSU) to help income-qualified families make their homes warmer and more energy efficient through the Home Efficiency Assistance Program (HEAP). The program provides energy and water efficiency improvements and cost savings on utility bills.
Qualifying for Program Assistance
To qualify for a free energy efficiency audit, weatherization, conservation help, or reduced-price furnace services through this program, you must:
- Own your home
- Reside in a single-family home, townhouse, condo, or mobile/manufactured home
- Be a Colorado Springs Utilities (CSU) customer
- Have a gross income less than 60% of state median income guidelines.
