We are proud to be a part of the Give! Campaign as a non-profit organization with offices in Colorado Springs. Give! has organized two-month-long philanthropy campaigns in the Pikes Peak Region since 2009, and has helped local non-profits raise more than $13 million in funding through individual donations and matching grants over the years.
When you give to ERC through the Give! Campaign, you are supporting the work that is needed to provide free energy-efficiency upgrades to income-qualified families. Many of these upgrades include hot water heaters, furnaces, insulation, light bulb replacements, water-saving measures, and more! Together, this work decreases the utility usage of a home and decreases the family’s utility bill. Plus, Give! has prizes and bonuses to thank you for your philanthropy.
The funding we receive from the campaign will help us reach 2,000 homes over the next year. That is 2,000 families or individuals whose homes desperately need energy efficiency upgrades to lower their monthly utility bills. The work will provide lasting, comfortable homes for many years, and ongoing savings for the household.
Your donations will be matched until we reach a total of $12,050 in giving. Our matching grant partners are ready to match your funds and make them go even further.
As of today, we have raised just over half of our matching grant total. We have 30 days left to take advantage of all $12,050 in matching funds. Chipping in any amount will help us get there, and help us serve more families in the coming months.
